Salvia leucantha 'Purple Velvet'

furry purple flowers on a small half hardy shrub -5c with narrow, willowy, buddleja like leaves.

A very attractive small shrub which flowers all winter if brought in under cover or in a very sheltered garden. Hardy to -5c. In most cases best pot grown and brought in for the all winter display. Generally flowering early autumn this continues through winter if the plant is brought in and it sometimes flowers in spring. Max height 1m spread up to 1m easily pruned for width.
