Setaria palmifolia

A broad ribbed leaved grass. Over winter frost free.

Foliage height 60-90. Flower stems up to 1.2. Looks good with green leaved tall canna like musifolia. Useful in front of plastic pots to hide them. Not hardy but will tolerate the same lows as canna so could survive outdoors heavily mulched in mild areas. Otherwise bring in. Here we plant out and dig up and pot for the winter or also grow in pots all year around. Evergreen if kept frost free.
