If you are looking for a decoy heron to scare away a real one then ;forget it and save your money,they categorically DO NOT WORK. There is no truth in tales of them being territorial or solitary. No model heron works however much you pay for it and Acre Meadow Herons are beautiful ornaments only. Herons are intelligent birds with good eyesight and can't be tricked in this way, try a scarecrow or another deterrent if you are looking to save your fish!
