Acre Meadow is situated  5 miles south-west of Great Yarmouth just off the A143 Gorleston to Beccles road. Coming from the Great Yarmouth direction at Bradwell once leaving the built up area where the A143 becomes dual carriageway take the right turn for Belton and Burgh Castle ( New Road). From the South it is the second turn on the left after the Cherry Lane garden centre at Fritton. Acre Meadow is not within a built up village area and is half way between Bradwell and Belton.

 From Lowestoft if coming through Lound you will need to turn left at the T junction at the end of Browston Lane and get into the right hand lane of the dual carriage-way to turn right into New Road. Acre Meadow is just 1/4 of a mile from the A143. In open countryside. Being the third property along New Road.

Sat Nav users beware! 8 out of 10 of you are getting lost with Satalite Navigation. Generally sat nav users are directed to Church Walk which is down Green Lane Bradwell and very wrong! It's really easy to find us without sat nav by following the above information.

 

 

 

I started the nursery business here in 1987 growing bedding plants and generally popular subjects before I took the plunge with what truly interests me.  I couldn't help but notice that almost all aquatic plant outlets were selling poor quality plants and that staff in most cases knew little or nothing at all about them. All of the plants grown and sold here are personally recommended varieties.

 

Visitors to the nursery are most welcome. Opening hours are 10 - 4.30 closed Monday and Tuesday and for some events throughout the year, see events page for details and dates . You can usually arrange for me to open out of regular hours for you. Be sure to check the events page,as if there is an event on the nursery will be closed !

 

Sometimes I'm seeing to more than one customer at a time,even if I have only three customers in a day they all seem to come at once! So best not to be impatient!
